String Brands

Some string brands have been tested over the last 18 months to test the suitability of various tennis strings.

These tests covered several factors including price, quality, and popularity. The service offered by the companies was also important.

The best range of strings seems to be Tecnifibre for both quality and performance. This will in future be the main brand used

In second place is Babolat as they have some good products, but care needs to be taken with the choice. Obtaining information from the company is not particularly good.

The Klip brand offer some good products but have not been very popular with players. This is probably due to not having any sponsored players.

The Pacific brand has some good products including a selection of racquets (formerly Fischer) and strings including Natural Gut. The brand is not so well known, but this could change.

String Brands

Many players prefer to use a particular brand of strings. They have usually found the strings offer the performance they require.

Some other players are interested in trying a particular brand as they have heard or read that the products are good.
